Refund policy

Our products are digital downloads. Once you start downloading, the right of withdrawal no longer applies (article 6:230p Dutch Civil Code). We value satisfied readers more than strict rules — so below our practical policy.

When do we offer leniency?

  • The file does not open on a common e-reader (Apple Books, Kobo, Kindle via Send-to-Kindle, KOReader, Calibre).
  • The translation contains clear errors that prevent reading.
  • Chapters are missing or the bilingual layout doesn't work.
  • You accidentally bought twice.

What do we do?

First step is always recovery: we replace the file or rebuild it. If that fails, we refund the full purchase amount within 14 days, by the same payment method.

What does not fall under leniency?

  • The content of the original work (you chose which book to buy).
  • Taste discussions about translation choices (we make choices; we explain them in the foreword).
  • Compatibility with very old e-readers (older than 10 years) that don't support EPUB3.

How do I report a problem?

Send an email via the contact page with your order ID (from the confirmation email) and a short description of what's wrong. Reply within one business day.
